Interview On Hypobaric Oxygenation With Sean Clingan And Matthew Schuldes

This  session will be at 0730 CDT on September 15.  I will be interviewing Sean Clingan and Matthew Schuldes.  These are two perfusionists who have published on the use of hypobaric oxygenation to remove gaseous microemboli in CPB and ECMO circuits.

This session is at 1830 CDT on September 14 and is entitled “Bubbles”.  “Bubbles” will discuss the physics and physiology of gaseous microemboli (GME) in extracorporeal circuits and introduce the concept of hypobaric oxygenation to prevent GME. Update: I apologize that the audio portion of Dr. Gibson’s talk did not come through.  But you can see his full 17 minute video at this YouTube address:

Perfusion Theory is an educational platform for the Oxygen Pressure Field Theory (OPFT). August Krogh’s theoretical concept of the oxygen pressure field is explained and then applied to clinical applications in perfusion practice.
